Elton John Announces a 3rd Qudos Bank Arena Show
By enormous demand, more new shows have been added to
Elton John’s mammoth
Farewell Yellow Brick Road World Tour, which lands in Australia-New Zealand in November this year.
The music legend will bring his swansong tour to Sydney audiences across five huge nights, today adding a new
Qudos Bank Arena show on
Tuesday 14th January 2020 to satisfy demand. A third
Brisbane show will land at the
Entertainment Centre on
Thursday 16th January 2020, along with a second appearance at Auckland’s
Mt Smart Stadium on
Tuesday 11th February 2020.
Additionally, new tickets will be released for the
Hunter Valley Hope Estate shows on Saturday 11
th and Sunday 12
th February 2020,
on sale from 6am AEDT tomorrow.
Elton John now performs an incredible 26 Australian and 5 New Zealand Farewell shows between November 2019 and February 2020.
Tickets for the newly announced Sydney and Brisbane shows will go on sale to the General Public at 9am local, Monday 18
th February.
Tickets for the second Auckland show will go on sale to the General Public at 9am local, Thursday 21
st February.
Remaining tickets for all other shows are on sale now.
New Zealand and Australia snapped up tickets in the general public on sale this week, resulting in 9 sold out shows and more than 350,000 tickets already sold across the board.

In his
Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, the songs from Elton John’s legendary 50-year career will be showcased against a backdrop of never-before-seen images and videos, brand new stage production, along with a tour wardrobe designed by Italian fashion house Gucci.
He will be joined by longstanding band members
Nigel Olsson on drums (part of Elton’s original three-piece band in 1970), esteemed musical director
Davey Johnstone (who first recorded with Elton in 1971 and joined the band a year later) on guitar, virtuoso
Ray Cooper on percussion,
Matt Bissonette on bass,
John Mahon on percussion, and
Kim Bullard on keyboards.
Garnering rave reviews at sell-out shows across North America, Elton John’s curtain call will be the last chance to catch this legendary performer touring in Australia.
