The JJ Lin Sanctuary World Tour kicked off in Shanghai at the Mercedes Benz Arena in March this year and has made its way through 18 cities, including Beijing, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Jinan, Dalian, Nanjing, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong and still counting.

Billed as one of the most highly sought after Mandarin pop concerts of 2018, tickets to the Sanctuary World Tour shows were in high demand, tickets selling out across Asia shortly after going on sale. Having performed to some 300,000 fans during the Sanctuary World Tour, JJ will continue to blaze trails in 2019, bringing the show to Australia.

Helmed by a team that gathers the cream of the crop from all over the world, the show promises a 360 all rounded experience from elaborate staging and effects to impeccable vocals and music.

The concert director Ida Wong hails from Hong Kong and has worked with top singers such as Faye Wong, Jacky Cheung and Eason Chan. David Foster, Canadian musician and producer for the likes of Michael Bublé, Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion and the late Whitney Houston, is the tour’s co-music director. This is the first time Foster is collaborating with an Asian artiste for a concert tour. Through Foster’s introduction, renowned Hollywood film score composer Hans Zimmer, known for his musical contributions in The Lion King and the Pirates of the Caribbean series, was invited to compose the concert’s cinematic opening track.

Titled “JJ Lin Sanctuary World Tour”, JJ Lin hopes to connect with the audience through his music and provide a simple sanctuary away from the daily noise and clutter. The tour has also released a “SANCTUARY APP” where fans can not only receive first-hand information but also communicate with JJ Lin through the ‘Message In a Bottle’ function.
